Connect with an ELLS
English Language Learning Specialists (ELLS) are experienced learning centre professionals who are certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). They can help you identify and improve English language reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills so that you can succeed in the Douglas College courses you are currently taking.
You can get support and feedback from an English Language Learning Specialist in two ways:
Real-Time
English Language Learning Specialists can meet with you in-person for 25/55-minute sessions in-person at the New Westminster or Coquitlam campus or via Zoom. They can also reserve ongoing sessions for you for a few weeks at a time to work together on specific assignments and skills.
