Open Education Week is a celebration of the global Open Education Movement. Its goal is to raise awareness about the movement and its impact on teaching and learning worldwide.
Our Douglas College event is on March 5th at 10 am in Zoom, when we will hear from Communications faculty members. Janice Sestan will talk about the UN SDG Open Pedagogy Fellowship and creating renewable assignments with students. Sam Schechter will talk about working with students to publish their best work in Open Educational Resources e-books.
